Business Council of Canada and the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) hosted the 3rd Canada-Korea CEO Dialogue
Press Release

The Business Council of Canada and the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) hosted the 3rd Canada-Korea CEO Dialogue during a senior Korean government and business delegation visit to Canada this week.
This was the first CEO dialogue to take place in Canada, and it was an honour to hold this discussion with high ranking officials from Korea and Canada including Presidential Special Envoy and Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Korea, Hoon-Sik Kang, Minister of Trade, Industry and Resources, Jung-Kwan Kim, The Honourable Victor Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of Ontario, and Philip Jennings, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
This meeting comes at an important time for the Canada-Korea economic partnership. Businesses from both markets are working hard to navigate an increasingly challenging global landscape. A clear solution emerging from this discussion is the need to deepen business-to-business collaboration in various key sectors to enhance our competitiveness and resiliency, including in defence, aerospace, energy, services, and technology.
We look forward to continuing work with our strategic partner at the FKI to enhance dialogue and make closer linkages between our leading industries.
