Wed, May 27 | EY Centre
Open Ocean Robotics will be at CANSEC in Ottawa to showcase DataXplorer™ Protect and how our cost effective, solar powered USVs can support maritime domain awareness and defence operations in Canadian waters.
Open Ocean Robotics will be attending CANSEC 2026, taking place May 27 to 28 in Ottawa. As Canada’s largest defence and security trade show, CANSEC brings together government, military, and industry leaders to explore technologies and solutions that support national security and operational readiness. Open Ocean Robotics will be on site throughout the event, with CTO Fritz Stahr and Technical Sales Specialist Julia Clarke in attendance.
At CANSEC, we will be showcasing DataXplorer™ Protect, our maritime domain awareness focused uncrewed surface vehicle designed to support defence and security operations in Canadian waters. Built for persistent surveillance and long duration missions, DataXplorer™ Protect delivers real time situational awareness without emissions or crew risk. As a solar powered platform, it provides a cost effective alternative to crewed patrol vessels for missions such as coastal monitoring, port and infrastructure protection, and wide area maritime surveillance. Paired with our XplorerView™ software platform, operators gain secure, real time access to data and fleet oversight from anywhere.
We look forward to connecting with representatives from the Canadian Navy, Canadian Coast Guard, and defence partners who are exploring scalable and sustainable maritime security solutions. Stay tuned to our social channels for updates on where to find us at CANSEC and how to connect with our team during the event.
