As part of a broader global strategic agreement, the unique partnership combines the Cincoze industrial computing portfolio with Captec’s engineering capabilities to support advanced industrial and specialized hardware systems.
Cambridge, Ontario, October 5, 2026: Captec Americas and Cincoze have formed a strategic North American alliance as part of a broader global agreement between the two organizations.
The agreement establishes an entirely unique relationship within Cincoze’s North American partner network. Cincoze will broaden Captec’s solution offering, strengthening its position as a leading provider of high-performance specialized computing platforms for demanding environments and mission-critical applications.
Even more notable, Captec and Cincoze will now collaborate on future, market sector-specific platform design and development. The combined technology and engineering capabilities of both organizations will lead to proprietary product releases, leveraging over 55 years of combined industry expertise, to address emerging application requirements across automation, defense, healthcare, energy and transportation.
Captec’s US and Canadian customers will now benefit from true global fulfilment capabilities with manufacturing sites in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. They will also gain access to an expanded range of configured-to-order embedded computers, GPU platforms, machine embedded computers, industrial panel PCs and displays. These technologies augment Captec’s existing portfolio, creating a broader foundation from which hardware systems can be configured, modified, integrated, or fully customized around the application.
Cincoze provides an extensive selection of rugged and industrial computing platforms designed for edge deployment. Its modular approach allows processing, expansion, connectivity and display options to be selected around defined requirements, providing an efficient starting point where a pre-configured system meets the needs of the application.
Where requirements extend beyond standard configuration, Captec can apply its multidisciplinary engineering, integration and lifecycle capabilities. Support can include specialist interfaces, mechanical and electrical modification, peripheral integration, environmental considerations, testing support, configuration control and long-term lifecycle management.
This creates a clear pathway for equipment manufacturers, system integrators and program teams. Customers can select an existing Cincoze platform, engage Captec to modify or integrate the hardware, or progress to a fully custom system where the application demands it.
The relationship is expected to add particular value where systems require reliable edge processing, GPU acceleration, industrial connectivity, environmental resilience or extended platform availability. Potential areas of collaboration range from machine vision and advanced automation to deployed computing, remote monitoring and critical infrastructure.
“Cincoze adds significant depth to the configured-to-order industrial computing platforms that Captec offers across the United States and Canada,” said Joseph Levea, Executive Vice President North America at Captec Americas.
“What truly differentiates this relationship is that it goes well beyond supplementing mere product distribution. We see significant opportunity to bring our organizations together to align technology, engineering, and market knowledge to create unique solutions for our North American customers supplemented with the capability to deploy them globally. Customers can begin with proven Cincoze technology and draw on Captec’s engineering capabilities to modify, integrate and fully customize to support complex application requirements.”
Cincoze’s portfolio spans compact fanless computers, expandable industrial systems, GPU-accelerated platforms and integrated display technologies. This breadth introduces additional options across a wide range of performance, form factor, connectivity and deployment requirements.
“Captec Americas brings engineering depth, application experience and a strong understanding of the North American market,” said Wayne Marcouillier, CEO of Cincoze USA.
“By combining Cincoze technology with Captec’s modification, integration and custom system capabilities, this relationship creates a distinctive proposition for customers with demanding requirements. We look forward to working closely with Captec across North America as part of our wider global strategic agreement.”
