Noah Note: An announcement on Munition production has been a long-time coming. It has been a slow and delayed process of trying to get the few companies in the Munition Supply Program to ramp up production. Part of that is on a lack of proper financing, however after four years of the Ukraine War I have stopped truly assigning blame. Everyone is at fault.
What this announcement will be? Likely funding for another line. That has been on the lost of things to fund for a decent while. As we approach the end of the fiscal year, you can expect that a number of announcements will be tossed out to try and bump up the numbers.
Not that I'm complaining mind you. If that's what it takes to get things done? Then so be it. Spend away.

I'm no expert on the munitions production industry, but I'd be curious of the pros and cons of nationalizing it.
At first glace, it seems a lot easier to mandate a Crown Corp maintains at least X excess capacity than trying to push against the incentives for private industry to always have capacity = current order volume.
