GSTS gets Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency support for vessel management platform
Press Release

Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS) reports that it has received two repayable contributions from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) to support the further development of its OCIANA Artificial Intelligence (AI) maritime vessel-management platform.
The funding is being provided under the Regional Development and Innovation Infrastructure (RDII) programme.
The OCIANA platform combines satellite and sensor data with AI to deliver maritime domain awareness and support decision-making, providing analytics, prediction, and optimisation for maritime risk management and port operations. The system is currently operational and provides intelligence capabilities to Canada, NATO members, and other Five Eyes nations.
The platform is also used by ports, shipping companies, and pilotage authorities to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
“These projects help move GSTS forward at an important stage in our growth,” said Richard Kolacz, Chief Executive Officer of GSTS. “The support from ACOA is enabling us to expand our capabilities, strengthen our team, and accelerate the commercialisation of OCIANA to meet growing market demand in defence, maritime security, and supply chain visibility.”
