I have not seen it publicly but I did ask KPMG for it. No response yet, but I did message late in the day.

They are still about 20billion to 40billion short of meeting the ITB and PSIB credits. Every dollar spent has to return to Canada. Over the life of the project and number of subs thats a lot more than 200k jobs. The value proposition is 50 % what can they do for Canada.

Wow, the part about defence procurment's 'broader lens' including AI really stood out. As an AI lover, I found that super interesting. Great insights!

My concern with any of the proposals is the actual follow-through mechanisms. We have seen a lot of this south of the border( and probably here as well, just not aware) where promises of investment and building factories are made but the actual construction does not really go anywhere and eventually the project fades to obscurity.

Hanwha’s TV video is a revelation in itself. I believe this is a first for a defence industry to pitch their product to the Canadian public on mainstream media. Personally I think it’s a great move. Moreover, they’re succeeding in making the average Canuck to think and discuss national defence in a way that the GoC and DND have rarely if ever since the 1950s.
