Hanwha Signs MOU for Advanced Manufacturing Investment in Quebec
Press Release

Hanwha's key industrial affiliates-Power System Mfg. and Hanwha Impact-have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Montréal International to explore cooperation on a potential large-scale, greenfield advanced manufacturing investment in Quebec, Canada.
The potential collaboration would focus on building a resilient supply chain across the aerospace and energy sectors, including advanced nickel and titanium materials, gas turbine assembly and integration, and aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO). The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation during the evaluation phase.
This engagement marks an important step toward strengthening ties between the respective industries, particularly within Greater Montréal's aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and innovation ecosystem. The agreement also aligns with Hanwha Ocean's participation in the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP), which emphasizes domestic manufacturing capability, workforce skills development, and export-oriented industrial participation.
