INNOSPACE has signed a Launch Services Distribution Agreement with RSAT Space Inc., a Canada-based space and defense technology company, strengthening sales cooperation for small satellite launch services in the Canadian market.
The agreement builds on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the two companies in April, advancing their partnership into a more concrete phase of business execution. The companies will continue to jointly pursue Canadian government and commercial projects while expanding launch service opportunities.
Under the agreement, RSAT will hold non-exclusive sales rights in Canada for launch services using INNOSPACE’s HANBIT series, and will support customer acquisition, launch service proposals, sales activities, and contract execution in the local market.
Through this partnership, INNOSPACE will expand its North American sales presence from the United States into Canada and broaden customer engagement and business development opportunities across the region.
Noah Note: Despite what some think, CPSP didn’t destroy every avenue of cooperation between Canadian and Korean Industry. We kinda talked about that in the Q&A last week, but I feel it bares repeating.
While lots was abandoned or pulled back, that doesn't mean there was some massove retreat from that Canadian market, and INNOSPACE, who was tied to CPSP but never dragged into things is among those who decided go stick around and try to keep somw Camadian presence.
On that note though, Hanbit does join an increaingly crowded space for Canadian Small-Launch operations. The market is competitive, and it includes several alrrady major players competing for an inheremt money-losing section of the market. Nord, CRC, Reaction, Isar now… It’s a tough playing field.
