Thank you for sharing this. Absolutely. Many Canadians support you in your quest for full partnership and decisions over your land.

Well said and I am so happy to hear you speaking out and sending a strong message to the Federal government and anyone else about what is best for your people. Only Intuits know what works best, how to safely and responsibly use the land that you inherited from your forefathers.

This is a very important reminder for the government, but for all Canadians and I am sending it out and reposting on my sub stack hoping to reach a few more people. Congratulations on speaking up now before things get done.

Isn’t that what the Prime Minister is doing?

It has always bothered me that in a country that has been built by so many over so many generations we lack the intelligence to build a government that is all inclusive! Why are there no 'guarantees' and there should be 'guarantees' that our government is inclusive, that there are native senators ir Governors General as well as French and English and men and women and all other identifiable genders from within our society as well as races included, in government, as just part of the normal 'guarantees' around us, like exists a 'guarantee' that the sun rises in the east! Not misunderstood or asking why or if it should or will it always but knowing that it is and it does and it will rise in the east .... like a 'guarantee'!

Attempts are made to get closer to full inclusion but falls short time and time again. Sometimes the effort dies from neglect or indifference or opposition! But it tends to rise up again but never seems to reach the level of a 'guarantee'!

With the Canadian moode of 2026 and perhaps, and I am counting on more than just perhaps, with effective governance and party unity for Canada and provincial need for each other and provincial resources and fortunes (yes Alberta you are fortunate to have so much oil under your feet just as Quebec is fortunate to have the strata to support massive hydro electric within their border .... neither province 'made' it that way ... it just is) we can as a country finish the task and become all inclusive!
