Irving gives updated look at CCGS Donjek

Irving Shipyards provided the following small update on CCGS Donjek:
βThe bow mega block for the future CCGS Donjek has taken shape inside the Module Hall at Halifax Shipyard. Over 30 metres in length and comprised of sixteen individual units, the bow mega block will roll out to land level later this month.β
First, the AOPS looks absolutely gorgeous in red. I have to admit, and I am sorry Navy friends, that I like it more than grey! She looks absolutely beautiful.
Irving often posts these little updates. Do you guys like them? Would you guys like me to do more mini-contrnt like this? I hate using notes, because many of you complain you miss them.
Donjek is expected to be delivered to the Canadian Coast Guard next year, followed by her sister Sermilik who will come in 2027. That will be the end of the AOPS production line.
Itd gonna be weird when it happens. It feels almost constant that we have one launching, or hearing updates of one in construction. From 2027 onwards we move fully to the River-class Destroyers.
