At some point over the next 3-4 years it’ll be realized that a few u212cd’s with some serious endurance would be really kinda super duper incredibly useful and half of our order will be converted to the expeditionary variant. I mean geez it’s only a 6m insert. How hard could it be? (I know i know it’s hard). Please don’t burst the bubble I’m happily living in.
It is probably not out completely out of the question?. At some point the pmo cpsp may follow up on the cd-e upgrade, seeking cost and schedule impact study or something, but will want to get the generic orders delivered for the first 4 or 6 before seeking a batch II upgrade. What we do know is that obsolescence mgt will be integrated from the start.
