Happy birthday. I enjoy your youthful energy. Your content is very much appreciated. I think by now I have been able to determine that you are not a Bot. May I ask how we can get you to encourage folks of your age group to get engaged in discussions or service in support of the defence of this gem of a country we have.
That's something I have not yet cracked the code on! Obviously among my friend group, and the groups I interact with I have tried to have these conversations.
Engaging the places, online, on social media, that most of us are in is a great step, and while that might feel simple, there is still a great struggle. There so much content on places like facebook that, sadly, most of us dont use.
Theres also still a culture of disinterest around defence. Its distant, foreign and doesnt engage enough for many to care. As someone whos only about five years out of high school, and with many friends in college or University, the lack of representation in education is startling.
Theres no presence, no promotion. Theres a general feeling that defence is not a viable career path because many don't want to commit to a lifetime of service, and want options outside of CAF if they feel like they're done after a few years.
A lot of those programs already exist, they're already there but lack promotion, lack the argument that CAF is worth dedicating years of your life too.
Its a struggle, even for someone in the age group! There's certainly fixes, a way to engage, but it isnt easy. Im in Sudbury, so the presence here is non-existent. Thats something I would love to work locally on.
The veterans education benefit is awesome, and I hope the CAF starts promoting it at highschools. After an unremarkable 6 years in the CAF, I managed an accounting degree debt free! And school made a lot more sense to me at 25 than it did as a teenager. I got more out of the education by doing it later.
It's a path I'd highly recommend. Especially to those who aren't sure what they want in a career. Spend a few years in the CAF figuring it out, then go back to school; with funding and a goal/purpose.
Would be remiss not to put in a plug for the Reserves....
Defence oresence & promotion might be helped by purposefully sticking an A Res armoury directly adjacent to all Universities & post secondary institutions. Make it a visible element for 20-somethings, & an obvious source of summer & part time employment. Whether they stay in after Uni is not the point (but is a side effect) - get more folks to experience & connect with the uniform.
Happy Birthday Noah, super huge year for you and the family. Very encouraged by your knowledge, expertise and achievements this year. I've dont think Ive said it before, but I think you may be part robot and have cybernetic knowledge subroutines loaded up, for each and every aspect of the defence portfolio. Family first, and foremost. Keep up the amazing contributions - you have been singlehandedly informing a 100k viewers... thats impact, that laudable and I thank you for everything you've been doing. Ps - I dont care about spelling errors. You should be proud, and everyone reading your content is proud of you. Keep it up!
Many happy returns of the day! Getting an interview with Vice Admiral Topshee is a real coup and a testament to how far you have come with TNSR. Congrats!
So first off happy birthday…but you have a long way go (trust me). Meantime congratulations on the interview with Admiral Topshee… that is one I am really looking forward to.
Congratulations, Noah, on your birthday, Vice Admiral Topshee interview and 100k milestone! I didn’t know you will hit 25. Now I feel ancient. A thimbleful of refreshment is in order for tomorrow.
Happy belated birthday Noah! Just listened to your interview with Adm. Topshee, thought it was fantastic and the best interview I’ve heard from him lately.
Happy Birthday my friend. Tommorow, on November 15, 2025 will be my 28th birthday and the ultimate birthday present would be the announcement of Canada going for the full order of 88 F-35A stealth fighter jets for the RCAF to replace the CF-18 Hornet!!!

I sometimes forget that you guys might not remember my age all the time. 🤣
Congratulations on having survived another year of Global Boiling!
Happy Birthday Noah! And congratulations on landing an interview with VAdm Topshee, that's a serious accomplishment.
Happy belated birthday Noah! Just listened to your interview with Adm. Topshee, thought it was fantastic and the best interview I’ve heard from him lately.
Very impressive and informative!
Happy birthday, Noah! I thought you were about 10-15 years older than you are (is that a compliment?).
Congrats on landing the interview.
Happy birthday, and congrats on the success of the site and on the interview.
I hope you asked VAdm Topshee his opinion of the Cyclone. I find angry rants very entertaining.
Happy birthday and well done!

120 would be better. Especially due to lower readiness and higher maintenance with the F-35.
