My vote for what to name the current times we live in is the "Multi-Polar Era", with the beginning marked by either the beginning of Trump's second term or Carney's Davos speech.

2Div's operational purpose greatly depends on what CJOC and the All Domain Defense Plan wants it to do... these tasks have yet to be fully spelled out. When this is done, then 2 Div will be able to modernize accordingly.
