Maawandoon Inc. Awarded Contract by Bell Textron Canada to Support CH-146 Griffon ISS Program

Maawandoon Inc., an Indigenous-owned leader in engagement, procurement strategy, and AIenabled supplier discovery, is pleased to announce its award of a contract by Bell Textron Canada Limited (BTCL) to deliver the Market Research Canadian Indigenous Business Report in support of the CH-146 Griffon In-Service Support (ISS) Program.
The engagement includes a comprehensive set of deliverables, including:
Indigenous Capacities & Capabilities Assessment
Market Assessment for Direct Work
Market Assessment for Indirect Work
Overview of the Federal 5% Indigenous Procurement Policy
These deliverables will help Bell achieve the Government of Canada’s mandatory 5% Indigenous Procurement Target, while creating additional opportunities for Indigenous businesses in the aerospace and defence sectors. Contract deliverables will be completed over six months.
Bell-Supported Advancement of IndigiMatch As part of this engagement, Bell is supporting the transition of IndigiMatch, Maawandoon’s AIdriven Indigenous vendor-matching platform, from Proof of Concept to Early Commercialization. IndigiMatch uses advanced natural language processing, real-time contract ingestion, and Canada’s largest Indigenous business dataset to support:
Rapid identification of Indigenous suppliers for ISS work packages
Compliance with ITB, PSIB, and federal procurement mandates
Audit-ready engagement tracking and reporting
Vendor performance monitoring and capability mapping
Bell’s adoption and integration of IndigiMatch accelerates the platform’s readiness for wider deployment within Canada’s aerospace and defence sectors.
