Interesting in that there was a successful test last week of Italian M-346 aircraft successfully controlling a Turkish drone in flight. Given we are currently negotiating to purchase the M-346 lead in advance trainers….one has to wonder about the Turkish Drone option.
That's interesting. I'm fairly certain there are no plans to use the M346 for anything but training, but it would be interesting to see if they could add deploying and operating drones from them to the curriculum. Currently that would be completely separate, but sooner or later we are going to have to integrate drone operations and loyal wingman training to our pilot training. Or at least it's something to consider.
