Project Updates

• The Bridge & Gap Crossing Modernization has released a new draft RFP to industry. Take note that meeting requests are also coming up.

• The RFI for UAS for the AOPS has been extended to June 30th and a new pricing guide has been released.

• A new amendment has been posted for the Binocular Night Vision Devices RFP. Industry should take note that your time to submit closes in three days

• Hitachi Energy has filed a new record with Maple Leaf Strategies regarding a pan-Canadian energy policy, more specifically an East-West transmission connection.

• CMC Electronics has filed a new record looking at the supply of navigation systems for thr F35 and P8

• RaceRocks 3D has filed a new record with CFN Consultants for a variety of reasons.

• BluMetric Enviornmental has filed a new record for the supply of water purification systems to a number of services.

• Hanwha Defence USA has filed a new record (one of almost a dozen) with CFN Consultants aiming to present their defence solutions to thr DND/CAF

• Kongsberg Geospatial has filed a new record with CFN Consultants looking to pursue several government contracts and present their solutions to the DND/CAF

Rumors & Speculation

• We should be hearing more about acquiring a long-range strike capability for the P8 soon

• The Continental Defence Corvette has apparently started looking at a true Corvette beyond the ~1000 ton range. Size restrictions still app

• Speaking on CDC its possible we might see a mixed-fleet solution back in play, beyond a common hull.

• Davies is still looking to acquire a U.S. based shipyard. Keep an eye on that.

• Theres been some talk about pension reform, but I have no details I can share at this time.

• Beyond the four from before, a new company has been added to the qualified pool of GBAD phase I
