I think Rutte is two-faced, and still licking trump's boots. People are excusing his "concepts of a deal" with trump today but I think he's weak. I trust Carney knows who he can trust.
I get the comment and have at times felt the same way or screamed at the screen "you spineless bastard, just speak up". With that out of the way, my calmer self takes over and actually feels for the guy. It can't be easy when you have at different times, one or several of your members acting like entitled toddlers. The US, France, and some eastern countries have all been there, done that. It must be exhausting keeping the peace at times.
True, I wouldn’t want to be any of them right now. But so many European leaders I feel still don’t “get” it. Look at all the headlines, “Trump says he won’t use force to attack Greenland”. How naive can you get?
