What a amazing and great effort our South Korean friends have gone through to prove that their relationship isn't just the submarines but a friendship that will see both countries benefit from the friendship. South Korea is a technologically advanced society and their willingness to share their technology with us is something we can't afford to just pass on. Their commitment to invest in our infrastructure and training Canadian sailors in a new building that will be a cornerstone of a strategic relationship and overall closeness is something that Canada needs. Our ally for 70yrs is gone. Friendships on the scale that South Korea is expressing, in my opinion should be jumped on and reciprocated quickly.
