There are reports that another major NATO power, France is looking to acquire the K239 Chunmoo!!! First Poland, then Estonia, then Norway and now France!!! The K239 Chunmoo is becoming an major integrated part of NATO's combat capabilities!!!

This is a sign that Canada should cancel the HIMARS acquisition and go for the K239 Chunmoo 3.0 (latest upgraded version)!!!

Oh, interesting about the European company re naval projects. Looking at the strategic situation and the timelines of both RCN & CCG build out capabilities, we do need help.

I could see BAE buying out Irving or TKMS buying Seaspan. But that would be the extreme end of the possibilities...

It would be exceptionally unwise and unlikely for BAE or any other foreign company to buy out Canadian shipbuilders, given that they basically exist to serve the building requirements of the Canadian Govt and nobody else. Our shipbuilding industry is not competitive abroad and our domestic shipyards hold a substantial swap within the Canadian Govt. Frankly, it's a national security risk to sell off our shipyards.
