There’s a big weight factor even from 24 to 36 cells. At this point there’s trade offs that have to be made for the CSC if they want it to be a do everything ship.

Dropping the Vulcano at this point is not confidence inspiring and it is the better gun. I hope they find a way to make it work.
River class is starting to enter the zone of too much compromise and …jack of all trades and mediocre at all of them …..
Or swap to the 76MM and save even more weight to add another 8 cell MK41
I'm pro 32 cell VLS but for batch 2. 76mm is frigate sized. I don't think weight is much of a factor between 24/36 VLS but I could be wrong.
