TKMS hosts Supplier Days events, to host further events in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver
TKMS has released the following statement regarding their series of Supplier Days events. Competition is heating up, and I expect we will hear of their first tranche of Canadian partners very soon:
“TKMS has organized Supplier Days to support the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP). Being major industrial and economic centers of Canada, our team has made stops in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Halifax - and the response has been tremendous. More than 300 Canadian companies, research institutes, and universities have expressed strong interest in joining forces with us. This demonstrates the huge opportunities the TKMS' 212 CD Class program presents for Canadian industry.
By combining TKMS's outstanding submarine expertise with Canada's innovation, skills, and industrial strength, we're not only building submarines - we're building economic impact for Canada. This is why we are engaging Canadian industry at an early stage of our project - we want to build a resilient Canadian supply chain.
TKMS aims to create long-term partnerships with Canadian suppliers and create high-quality jobs for Canadians all over the country. We will be making stops in Montréal, Vancouver, and Toronto as we continue to grow a nationwide network of Canadian partners ready to help shape the CPSP.”
