The fact that the US is now giving Canada the GBU-53/B StormBreaker to the RCAF (which the F-35 can use while the Gripen can't) is a sign the US might be willing to negotiate a bit on the F-35 and might even give Canada more industrial benefits for the CF-35 that can be enough to go for the full order of 88 CF-35A stealth fighters 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
No matter what we will get CF-35A. That number is likely to be 32 at minimum. No matter what we will need to be prepared for them. Gripen is still working to integrate Stormbreaker last I heard, which is the one munition here that isnt certified for it at this time.
I feel like there is far more practice munitions than actual combat capable ones in this order. Perhaps it should have been the other way around if they were really taking the restock seriously.
The far majority are actual Ordnance, however I know what you mean, especially with the large number of GBU-39 practice bombs. However I do understand that given it will be a new munition for the RCAF and you want to try and have a healthy supply of practice munitions to go with it.
This is also only one order. There are more planned. I know JSM is also being looked at and is wanted, so rest not! There is still ample opportunities to go beyond this lol.
The package is designed to restock the munition supply ahead of the delivery of the CF-35A. Adding SDB and Stormbreaker aligns us with many of our allies in doing similar.
Not as much as one might think. Stormbreaker yes, but no matter what we'll be getting CF-35A and they can use them. Saab had previously been working to integrate Stormbreaker to Gripen, so not as clear dismissal as one would expect.

Please once the Su-57 and Russiam 6th gen fighter is in mass production, those nimble Gripens would be useless and dead before they even take off!!!

These all appear to be air delivered ordinances. What platforms are certified to carry these

Agreed but leaves the ‘gripen option’ out in the cold.
