On the second day of MSPO 2026, WB GROUP signed agreements with three Canadian partners: WESCAM, Robotics Centre Inc. and Rosborough Boats. Together with the agreement signed with CAE on Tuesday, this brings the total to four new agreements with Canadian partners at this year's exhibition in Kielce.
The agreements cover a broad range of cooperation - from unmanned systems and training solutions to local production and maritime systems. A key element is the cooperation with WESCAM, which will integrate its MX-series electro-optical systems with WB GROUP's reconnaissance and strike systems. The resulting platforms are intended to meet the requirements of both Poland and Canada.
Canada is emerging as a market with growing interest in Polish defence technology and engineering. This year's MSPO, with Canada as the Lead Nation, marks another step in strengthening WB GROUP's ties with the Canadian defence industry.
The agreements were signed in the presence of Victor Fedeli, Ontario's Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and Emmanuelle Lamoureux, Ambassador of Canada to Poland
Noah Note: Obviously, the expected Drone Deal did not happen as planned, but the initial partnerships mean to execute on it were. This was kept fairly hushed, surprisingly. I don't know why myself, and I hope we see some Canadian releases on these, but we'll see.
WB and WESCAM have been collaborating for a long while, that isn't new. What is new is the collaboration on ensuring that WB systems are better integrated into the Canadian context. Rosborough Boats are made up of a great family, and some really cool people. I like them, and I am happy to see them get the acknowledgement here.
Robotics Centre too. Im curious the expectation from them. Sadly the release has little details, but I will reach out to folks and see if I can get more.
