Where Was Mr. Fuhr Today? (01/02/2026)
stalking our secretary of state for defence procurement until CSIS tells me to stop

Technically yesterday but he was visiting Hanwha’s Geoje Shipyard. He released the following statement and photos (including another Sero shot for my collection!):
“Our government is advancing Canada's security and economic interests by building resilient partnerships with like-minded nations like South Korea. Visiting Hanwha Ocean's shipbuilding facilities today offered valuable insight into their capabilities as they put forward their bid for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project. The procurement represents a generational opportunity for Canada to establish a long-term partnership with the selected supplier and its host nation.
I also met with Admiral Dong Gil Kang Chief of Naval Operations of the Republic of Korea Navy, where we emphasized that beyond this procurement, our ongoing work under the Security and Defence Cooperation Partnership will ensure we keep identifying new opportunities for collaboration with South Korea.”
