Rebuilding the Canadian Armed Forces' means investing in the capabilities and infrastructure they need to do their jobs and keep Canadians safe.
Today, I visited CFB Valcartier in Quebec, where I had the chance to meet some of the members training at the 2nd Canadian Division Training Centre. The base is also home to the Valcartier Research Centre within Defence Research and Development Canada, where approximately 225 defence scientists conduct critical research that advances innovative technologies to support the Canadian Armed Forces' evolving needs.
Thanks to Brigadier General Harvey for the tour and the chance to serve the troops a meal and hear about the important work they do each day.
