Where was Mr. Fuhr Today? (05/05/2026)

He is apparently over in Turkiye supporting Canadian SME's at SAHA 2026! A rare trip for anyone to make, you rarely see officials heading over to Turkiye for these kinds of events. Mr. Fuhr being a noted social butterfly and always popping up in the most random of places is the one person I expect to see though.
No statement yet, but we do have photos! While there he also met with Yaşar Güler, Turkish Minister of National Defence. I am happy to see someone getting out there to sone of the traditional NATO allies that we often don’t see interacted much with. Lot's of prime interest I imagine from both sides for collaboration.
UPDATE: As soon as I posted this, we got a statement and some more photos! Including Mr Fuhr posing alongside the folks from TUBITAK SAGE with a very pretty SOM model that I really, really want:
