Where was Mr. Fuhr Today? (05/08/2026)
Im gonna map all the countries he's been and show him at CANSEC

He was, I assume, having the time of his life in Switzerland attending the acceptance of the first PC-21, future CT-157 Siskin II, by thr Government of Canada. The SOS also released the following statement:
“Partnering with leading international aerospace companies through Canadian-led programs helps strengthen our aerospace sector and deliver the training our Royal Canadian Air Force pilots need for the future.
Today, alongside the Ambassador of Canada to Switzerland, I was pleased to attend the Government of Canada's acceptance of the first Pilatus Aircraft Ltd PC-21 aircraft as part of the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program, delivered in partnership with Canadian training provider SkyAlyne.
Known for combining jet-like performance with the efficiency of a turboprop trainer, the Swiss-made PC-21, powered by a Canadian-built Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine, will help prepare the next generation of RCAF pilots for the realities of modern military aviation.
This marks an important milestone in renewing Canada's pilot training system and strengthening the long-term readiness of the Royal Canadian Air Force.”

OK, the FAcT project, when it was imagined many years ago, expected to train 120 pilots, 40 ACSOs and 36 AES Ops to wings standard. With the new requirements for a larger CAF, what is the increase in the number of aircrew? Is there a need for additional aircraft? For the reg force? For the Primary Reserve? A few years ago it was announced that the RPAS would be crewed primarily by ACSOs, not pilots. Do we need more than 88 F-35s? AEWC: Oops, need more pilots and Mission Controllers. Or do we withdraw from the NATO squadron about to be equipped with Bombardier Global 6500s (I don’t think so!). Or do we withdraw from the NORAD AWACS (ah, that makes sense since the USAF is cutting a way back with just 6 E-7s. The USAF wants to go all satellite, but Congress is forcing them to keep Boeing happy). Noah, I expect a prompt answer. But you can tell me you forwarded it on to Grant and blame him for the slow delay. Its harder to type when you’re half way through a loop.
