Unlike everyone else who was banished to Poland this week, our loving SOS for Defence Procurement was in Alberta meeting with Industry ahead of an expected MOU on Defence between the Province and DND. The Secretary of State released the following statement and images regarding the meeting.

Yesterday, Minister Joseph Schow and I participated in an industry roundtable hosted by the Business Council of Alberta and Adam Legge in Calgary. We met Alberta industry and academia representatives to discuss the Defence Industrial Strategy and the opportunities for Alberta's defence sector within our Build-Partner-Buy framework.
By working together with industry partners, we can strengthen Canada's defence industrial base, support economic growth and deliver capability for the Canadian Armed Forces. 🇨🇦”
