He was touring around Alberta, more specifically Calgary. The Secretary of State released the following statement:
“Companies across Alberta are leading the way with innovation in the defence sector.
Yesterday in Calgary, I visited De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited, RTX, and Fidelity Manufacturing Group, three companies at the forefront of developing solutions to enhance Canada's defence capabilities.
De Havilland has a proud history in Canadian aviation, the company continues to turn aerospace expertise into practical solutions for defence and emergency response.
I also visited RTX and saw firsthand how their Canadian operations are supporting the Canadian Armed Forces.
Finally, MP Hogan and I visited Fidelity Manufacturing, a manufacturer of complex parts that is expanding its role in the aerospace sector.
As our government makes generational investments in the Canadian Armed Forces with Budget 2025, we will continue to foster innovation and leverage Canada's defence industry in places like Calgary to deliver the capabilities our country and allies need.”
