AOPS should each have one sitting in the back of the hangar. Not like we have helicopters to put in there.

Youll see them.on there soon enough! Though the AOPV have their own project in place for UAS.

Has that been announced? Did I miss that. I knew they were always in the works along with all the containerized options. I really just wish all our ships had helicopters (ASW, ISR, etc) but who know maybe one day. Sometime a long long long long time in the future. lol

Would this be used just for onboard sensors, or would they be deploying sonobouys with it as well? Im assuming this would provide some much needed air support on the Halifaxes while their cyclones languish in their hangers...

No Sonobuoys yet, but the S100 is an extremely flexible platform. It is primarily a sensor platform forst and foremost though, so not impossible to see stuff like that at all bur not its primary role.

Just curious if any updates on similar capabilities for the CCG for logistical purposes?

All I have been told is that it is a work in progress. They're taking ot a bit slow, stuff like the OceanSled Ranger is awesome to see but I get the feeling they're still in the figuring out stage. There are a few available though. With the absorbing of the ASD the DND also absorbed a bunch of random drones.

Think the Navy was fucking around with am LX300 a little while ago that was inherited. I don't have a clear inventory, but I would look there first to see whats around and what might rotate.
