About time. I always get miffed when the Feds lecture the Provinces on housing, the two areas where the Feds have direct responsibility for Housing is DND and Reserve lands and both are dismal and a mess.
Glad to see this finally come around. Better late than never. One way to attract new recruits and to retain current members to afford a sought after lifestyle of community living that is modern and highly serviced with community centre's, free fitness opportunities with active living gym and pools, nature trails, camping, highly funded schools with private school level education (that is standardized) with amazing teachers and not to mention priority transit access where it matters. A family support structure that has childcare, gated community living - free from normal tribulations and crime. Safe neighborhoods, affordable, highly modern, with local schooling and healthcare and dental! You can take off the rose colored glasses.... only a dream?
