The Type 26-Norway thing is interesting, Norway currently operates AEGIS frigates sooooo.....The one big problem, the Norwegians want ships now, but like Canada, the UK has little to none excess shipbuilding capacity to build them and their current frigates are falling apart (allowing the Norwegians to que jump seem unlikely).
Yeah, on that specifically the timelines make things hard. It would require giving up one of the current slots, which I have doubts the Royal Navy will allow given the urgency to get hulls in the water.
However, that doesnt mean we can't try to convince! The idea of the UK, Canada and Norway having some commonality in our surface combatants makes me smile.

If I were betting money, I think the Norwegians go German-F127
